Having ‘smore fun during summer camp!

Making plans for the summer? So are we!

Each year, around 200 children and youth in the community are signed up to receive support from our agency’s Camp Program funding. Our Camp Program funding provides children and youth in a service relationship with our agency the opportunity to attend a summer camp or extracurricular activity of their choosing.

Despite limitations in the last few years due to Covid-19, we found alternative solutions. One solution developed was our Camp in a Box program, including 4-5 age-appropriate craft activities and outdoor toys for an at-home camp experience. This program still runs alongside our regular camp registration processes, as we realize that not all children can or want to attend a traditional in-person camp. This addition to our programming has allowed us to cater to even more of the most vulnerable children and youth within our communities.
