Summer is a time for children to explore, learn, and create cherished memories. While these experiences are especially important for the children and youth we support, accessing these opportunities comes with many obstacles and barriers.
Our Camp Program relies on the generous contributions of community members like you to enroll the kids we work with in summer programs of their choosing. We pride ourselves in partnering with a wide variety of local accredited facilities that help kids foster connection to their community and culture, provide opportunities for growth and pursuing their passions, and create memories that last a lifetime. Enrollment in these activities also helps lighten the load for their caregivers facing many everyday struggles and stresses heightened by adversity and socioeconomic disadvantages.

Making a financial contribution provides direct support towards enrolling a child or youth in the summer program of their choosing!
If you prefer to e-transfer, it can be sent to simcas.finance@familyconnexions.ca with the note “Donation – Camp Program” in the message.
Donations of cash or cheque can be made by dropping it off or mailing it in to the office nearest you.
Some kids don’t want to go to camp, missed registration deadlines, or are faced with another circumstance that prevents them from attending. Our Camp in a Box packages were developed as a solution during closures in 2020, but have since become a staple at our agency. Filled with crafts, science experiments, and toys, they ensure every child has access to summertime fun.
You can use our Amazon wish list as a guide while shopping in the community, or conveniently purchase directly from the list and have the items shipped to our head office!
