A Summer of Opportunity

Summer is a time for children to explore, learn, and create cherished memories. While these experiences are especially important for the children and youth we support, accessing these opportunities comes with many obstacles and barriers.

Our Camp Program relies on the generous contributions of community members like you to enroll the kids we work with in summer programs of their choosing. We pride ourselves in partnering with a wide variety of local accredited facilities that help kids foster connection to their community and culture, provide opportunities for growth and pursuing their passions, and create memories that last a lifetime. Enrollment in these activities also helps lighten the load for their caregivers facing many everyday struggles and stresses heightened by adversity and socioeconomic disadvantages.

Average costs for summer camp are as follows:

  • $55 provides one day at a local day camp
  • $275 provides one week at a local day camp
  • $600 provides one week to a specialty/specialized day camp
  • $1,100 provides one week at a local overnight camp
  • $100 provides camp-in-a-box supplies & activities for 1 child

Imagine the joy on their faces as they embark on adventures, make new friends, and discover their passions, as well as the impact these opportunities will have on the rest of their lives. There are multiple ways you can be a hero in a child’s story!
