Want to talk? We do, too. Our Walk-In Clinics provide quick access to no-fee confidential therapy services for children and youth 0 to 18 years and their families.
What is the Counseling Walk-In Clinic (CWIC) ?
The Counselling Walk-In Clinic (CWIC) provides access to no-fee confidential therapy services for children and youth ages 0 to 18 years and their families. You will meet with trained therapists for immediate problem solving and helpful, supportive conversation. For many, a single session is enough but the clinic may be used more than once if needed. The reasons to visit the CWIC may be new issues or difficulties that have been present for a longer period of time.
Who Can Attend?
No referrals or appointments are necessary. We encourage the entire family or all those living in the home to attend the session. Any youth, 12 years or older can attend on their own and receive service.
Location and Hours
Available Tuesdays in Huntsville and Thursdays in Bracebridge from 11am to 7pm with the last appointment at 5:30pm. Summer hours in July and August are 11am to 5pm with the last appointment at 4pm.
The Huntsville office is located at 81 Main Street West and the Bracebridge office is located at 49 Pine Street.
As of January 1st, 2019, new Counselling Walk-In Clinics for children and youth will open across the service area of Nipissing, Parry Sound and Muskoka. For more information on how to access these services, click on the overview.
If you would like to, you can print off the below questionnaire that you will be asked to fill out prior to receiving service at the CWIC and bring it with you when you attend one of the clinics:
