The incumbent will report to the Child & Youth Mental Health Service Manager in the Muskoka branch office(s). The purpose of this position is to provide efficient and responsive Child & Youth Mental Health intake assessment and short term clinical services to families and clients of the agency. Primary duties include: complete a thorough assessment of the family situation to determine the type, intensity and length of child & youth mental health service that is required; provide brief, office based clinical support and treatment to a caseload of no more than 10 clients at a time; work each Child & Youth Mental Health Counselling Walk-In Clinic on a rotating schedule with the expectation of working one late night per week along with other duties as assigned by the Service Manager. This is a Bargaining Unit position with CUPE Local 5319.
