The Job

The incumbent will report to the First Nations, Métis and Inuit Resource Manager and is responsible for: assisting in the development of policy and procedures related to kin and customary care arrangements; recruiting First Nations, Métis and Inuit care givers for out of home care and conducting home assessments, managing and supporting a caseload of kin and customary care homes for both in-care and out-of-care children; ensuring appropriate documentation is completed in accordance with Ministry licensing standards; recording responsibilities in accordance with the legislation and agency procedures; and other duties as assigned by the First Nations, Métis and Inuit Service Manager. This is a CUPE Local 5319 Bargaining Unit position.
